Sugar Shack Outing

Sometimes even the members of The Pride need to take a little time off for fun. What do we do? We go to the sugar shack. And we play music. Surprised? You shouldn't be... we really love to play! I decided to call up the members of the band and some other friends and ask them to join me at the Beau-Site sugar shack for an afternoon of good old-fashioned fun on Sunday, March 25th. There were nearly thirty of us there to enjoy some great traditional food and hospitality. Some of the gang even went for a horse-drawn wagon ride. After lunch we moved across the foyer to the dance hall and Brian and I took the stage for a little show. My friend Al, a musician from Cornwall, Ontario, joined us on stage for a song and my sister Sonya did likewise for two. I think everyone had a great time - certainly I did and we look forward to our next get together. Check out some photos of the day below. More gig posts coming up soon!
